Hey!! If you’re new to the site or haven’t been here in some time, you may be wondering what this post is. TL;DR – my wife Rachel and I started our marriage together with over $80,000 worth of debt between us. That got old REAL quick, so we turned to Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover for help getting out of it. If you missed the last monthly update, you can find it here, or you can see all of them from the Updates link on the home page.
The last month of the year is finally here! With Thanksgiving not far behind us and Christmas coming up fast, we are quickly preparing to say goodbye to 2018. November was a good chance to catch up with family, let the dust settle from October’s financial craziness, and spend some time with friends. Check out where we ended up!

Christmas is coming up fast, but we’ve been squirreling away little amounts here and there since about September to fund our gifts for everyone, so that shouldn’t impact our budget too much. We’re looking forward to more time with friends and family, and to see how 2018 ends!
